These terms cover the Tapp Business Lab connector (“the connector”), the software Mike Tapp, doing business as Tapp Business Lab (“we”), uses to work in clients' QuickBooks Online and Square accounts.

Who can use it

The connector is not offered to the public. Only we operate it, and we connect it only to the accounts of clients who have engaged us and given their permission. Connecting it does not give the client, or anyone else, a login to the connector.

What connecting it means

By approving the connection in QuickBooks Online or Square, the client lets the connector access that account for the work described in their engagement with us. What the connector reads and how we handle the information is set out in the privacy policy.

Your engagement letter comes first

The connector is a tool we use to deliver our services; it is not sold or licensed separately, and there is no separate fee for it. The scope of our work, our fees, and our responsibilities to the client are set by the client's engagement letter. If anything in these terms conflicts with the engagement letter, the engagement letter applies.

Disconnecting

The client can disconnect the connector at any time from QuickBooks Online or Square (see how to disconnect), or by asking us. Disconnecting stops the connector's access; it does not by itself end the engagement.

Other companies' services

QuickBooks Online is provided by Intuit and Square by Block. Their services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or for changes they make.

Limits

We take care to keep the connector accurate and secure, and we review its results before relying on them. Beyond what the engagement letter provides, the connector is provided as is, and our responsibility for it is limited to what the engagement letter sets out.
